Communications Consulting

The language we use to communicate with the many layers of our organizations is important. This language reflects organizational values. We can assist with drafting and revising internal and external communications to ensure the language’s message is clear, accessible, and inclusive.

Dialogue Facilitation

Effective facilitation of a discussion involves the recognition and employment of different perspectives and different skills to create an inclusive environment.

In order to do so, it is important to consider the features of effective discussions, and conditions that promote small group interaction and engagement. Discussion is a powerful mechanism for active learning; a well-facilitated discussion allows the participant to explore new ideas while recognizing and valuing the contributions of others.

Individual and Group Coaching Sessions

Individual sessions: Let’s set aside time just for you. We’ll explore and deconstruct your role in the workplace so that you can grow and develop yourself as an inclusive leader in your field. Individual coaching will help you grow specific skill sets, increase critical thinking, and contribute to workplace environments where everyone can thrive.

Group sessions: Groups are cohorts of individuals that come together to help each other deconstruct, discuss, and resolve workplace concerns. Ideally, they are composed of four to six people who meet for seven or more times over the course of a year.

The team takes responsibility for solving their problems by generating learning opportunities, building knowledge, and developing individual, team, and organizational skills. When these partners in learning have diverse backgrounds, they benefit from a variety of perspectives and experiences. To increase diversity, the team sponsor selects members from various functions or departments, includes individuals from other organizations or professions, and/or involves suppliers, customers, and community members. The overall goal is to learn from and with each other in order to take effective action.
